A LITTLE ABOUT ME
CREATING A MOMENT FOR A LIFETIME
Hi, my name is Vincent Bracamonte, I am Hair and Makeup Artist, Beauty Educator, skin care Consultant and owner of Vincent Paul Artistry. I Have had the opportunity to serve as a Hair and Makeup Artist in numerous fashion photos, weddings, editorials, films, and theatrical productions. Let me tell you a little about my adventure.
I began experimenting with hair and makeup at the age of 14, when I practiced on my first client – my younger sister. Don't tell mom it was me playing with her makeup bag.
Shortly after high school, I was invited to participate in my first Drag Show. Going in as a sub performer, It was this show that prompted my journey of becoming a well-known Janet Jackson impersonator. Within one year, I recognized that the world of makeup entailed much more than Drag Queen Makeup, and was eager to explore more.
Shortly after, I was invited to do hair and makeup for a wedding for the first time, when one of my makeup looks I created and executed for a show, received exceptionally positive reviews.
This opportunity launched my excitement and interest toward creating looks for brides and bridal parties.
Without any formal training or funds to take classes, I turned to books by renowned makeup artist, Kevin Aucoin, in order to self-educate. Once I learned the importance of facial shapes, textures, and tones, I took it upon myself to practice on as many women and men as I could.
With my makeup business pulling my focus and beginning to grow, I did not want to neglect my love for hair. In 2005, I attended courses in Cosmetology at Citrus College, where I received my Credentials, and proceeded to obtain my license.
I have worked with MAC Cosmetics for 13 years, where I served as an Artist and a Manager. I also have worked as a part of MAC’s Artist Training and Development Program.
My most recent accomplishments include working as a Makeup Artist and Stylist for Club Jeté's Producer, Director, and Choreographer, Tiffany Billings. Additionally, I have been an Artist and Educator with MOE Hair Traveling Team and was proud to be recognized as a Featured Hair and Makeup Artist at the International Love and Peace Festival in Egypt.
My love for art has no limits. Throughout the past 20 years, I have continued to study, practice, and master my craft, while building and maintaining my own hair and makeup business – Vincent Paul Artistry. I take pride and pay exceptionally attention to detail, while creating moments and memories with all my clients and customers.
